# Timeleft > Timeleft is an in-person social platform for adults who want to grow more, connect more and experience more. Members pick a format (a dinner, drinks, a coffee or a walk), and Timeleft matches them with a small group of strangers and books the venue. Dinners run in every Timeleft city, and coffee, drinks and walks vary by city. Timeleft runs in 200+ cities across 52 countries and has more than 4 million members. A membership is needed to book, and while it is active members can book as many events as they like in their city. Members pay for what they order at the venue. The venue and a little about the group appear in the app before the event. Groups meet at public venues, and over 99% of Timeleft experiences happen without any safety incident. Timeleft is not a dating app, though some cities also run Singles Events for members who want to meet someone romantically. ## Core pages - [Homepage](https://timeleft.com/): What Timeleft is and how it works. - [About](https://timeleft.com/about/): Timeleft's mission and approach to in-person connection. - [Locations](https://timeleft.com/locations/): Cities and countries where Timeleft operates. - [Brand partnerships](https://timeleft.com/brand-partnerships/): Brand collaborations. - [Careers](https://timeleft.com/careers/): Open roles. - [Newsroom](https://timeleft.com/newsroom/): Company news and press coverage. - [Social health](https://timeleft.com/social-health/): Why human connection matters for health, with Timeleft's Human Connection Report. ## Trust and safety - [Safety guidelines](https://timeleft.com/safety-guidelines/): Safety policies and reporting tools. - [Community guidelines](https://timeleft.com/community-guidelines/): Rules of conduct at Timeleft events. - [Safety framework](https://timeleft.com/blog/safety-framework/): Timeleft's approach to safety before and during events. - [Safety starts before the dinner](https://timeleft.com/blog/safety-starts-before-the-dinner/): Safety measures before a group meets. ## How Timeleft works - [Is Timeleft right for you](https://timeleft.com/blog/is-timeleft-right-for-you/): Who may enjoy the format. - [Dinner with strangers](https://timeleft.com/blog/dinner-with-strangers/): What a first dinner is like. - [Timeleft for introverts](https://timeleft.com/blog/timeleft-for-introverts/): How the format works for people who prefer smaller groups. - [Timeleft vs Meetup](https://timeleft.com/blog/timeleft-vs-meetup/): A comparison of two ways to meet people. - [Best apps to make friends](https://timeleft.com/blog/best-apps-to-make-friends/): An overview of social apps. ## Guides - [How to make friends](https://timeleft.com/blog/how-to-make-friends/): Practical advice on building a social circle. - [Is making friends as an adult really hard](https://timeleft.com/blog/is-making-friends-as-an-adult-really-hard/): Challenges and approaches to adult friendship. - [No friends](https://timeleft.com/blog/no-friends/): Ways to start building a social circle. - [How loneliness affects your health](https://timeleft.com/blog/how-loneliness-affects-your-health/): Research on social isolation and health. - [Ice breaker questions](https://timeleft.com/blog/ice-breaker-questions/): Conversation starters. - [How to make friends in NYC](https://timeleft.com/blog/how-to-make-friends-in-nyc/): A local guide to New York City. - [Make friends in London](https://timeleft.com/blog/make-friends-in-london/): A local guide to London. - [Things to do alone in NYC](https://timeleft.com/blog/things-to-do-alone-in-nyc/): Solo activities in New York City. - [Things to do alone in Paris](https://timeleft.com/blog/things-to-do-alone-in-paris/): Solo activities in Paris. - [How to find a supper club near me](https://timeleft.com/blog/how-to-find-a-supper-club-near-me/): A guide to group dining. - [Best supper clubs in NYC](https://timeleft.com/blog/best-supper-clubs-nyc/): Group dining in New York City. ## Essays - [Blog index](https://timeleft.com/blog/): Essays about connection and social life. - [10 things we got wrong about connection](https://timeleft.com/blog/what-we-got-wrong-about-connection/): Timeleft's reflection on its early assumptions. - [The history of the table](https://timeleft.com/blog/the-history-of-the-table/): The shared table as a place to connect.
