How a first dinner goes, from the quiz to the next morning
We'll follow a dinner, the one format every city runs. Drinks, coffee and walks go the same way, from booking in the app to keeping in touch afterwards.
Choose your city at the top of the page, and the times below follow its next dinner. Choose a city

Sign up and take the quiz
Download the app or sign up at app.timeleft.com. A short quiz asks about your interests, your social energy, and what you value, and we use your answers to decide who you sit with.

We set the table
Your table is a small group, you included. We put it together from your quiz answers, interests, age range, and language, and balance it where we can, aiming for enough in common to get a conversation started.
We book a public restaurant, and before the event the app shows you where it is and a little about who's coming.

The start
Sit down with strangers
Tell the host you're there for a Timeleft dinner and give your group number. Almost everyone at the table is meeting for the first time, so you won't be the only new face.
-
If the table needs it
A game for the first questions
Anyone at the table can open the app's icebreakers and read a question out loud. The decks run from light questions to deeper ones, so the table can choose its own pace.

Over dinner
Order what you like
Everyone orders what they like from the menu, and whether the bill is split depends on the restaurant. Ordering early leaves more of the evening for talking.
-
About three hours later
The last course
Dinners usually run about three hours, long enough to get past the introductions and into the stories people came to tell. The table's group chat stays open after dinner, so you can make plans with anyone you got on with.

Keep the ones you clicked with
Rate the evening, then choose who from your table to stay connected with. Leave Impressions for the people you met, see what they liked about you and message any of your connections.
You can invite them to your next booking, and new people fill the other seats.
In the app:Did you click with someone?
You asked deeper questions that weren't just small talk.
An Impression from your group
