If the day or month of your birthday is wrong, you can now fix it yourself in Settings. You can make this change once.
Improved

New
Home now shows members you may have crossed paths with at Timeleft events, so you can open their profile and connect.
Improved
If you finish Impressions before rating the event, the app now offers to start your feedback straight away, or you can leave it for later. If you've already rated the event, you won't see this.
Improved
Once you've booked, the main button takes you straight to the event's details.
Improved
Swiping a message to reply now follows your finger, and the reply bar slides in, so it's clear which message you're answering.
New
When someone writes to you in a Timeleft chat, the app icon on your phone shows a badge until you read it.
Changed
If you have a US phone number, you can turn on text message reminders again, after your first booking or later in Settings. If you had them on before, you'll need to turn them on again.
New
On iPhone, the countdown to your next event now shows on CarPlay while you're on your way. It uses the same countdown as the lock screen.
Improved
If you use a larger text size on your phone, chat titles, section headers, and filters now resize properly instead of being cut off.
Improved
Walks for Strangers reached more cities on Sunday, October 4. The city list on the walks page shows where they run. Walks are paused in Dubai while it's too hot.
Improved
Every full event now has a waitlist. If a seat opens, you're given it automatically and told by four hours before the event at the latest.
Improved
New members on Android can pay for their membership with Google Pay. If a payment fails, you can replace your card from the app.

Improved
The Chat tab has filters for one-to-one chats, group chats, invitations, and unread messages. You can also search your connections by name.

Timeleft began with dinners for small groups of strangers, with Wednesday as the main night. In 2024 the app added a chat with the people you'd met and the option to reschedule instead of canceling (both March), and was rebuilt in November. In 2025 members could invite their connections to an event (worldwide from February), women-only dinners started on Tuesdays (March), Drinks arrived in Paris, Madrid, New Delhi, and Tokyo (May) and spread to more than 30 cities, and members could bring a friend who isn't on Timeleft (worldwide from July).
