  1. When you book

    Pick a day

    Choose your city, a date and the language you'd like to speak. Booking stays open until 13 hours before.

  2. Before the dinner

    We put the table together

    Your table is four to six people, you included, grouped by your quiz answers, age band and language. We book a good local restaurant, and the app shows where to go and a bit about who's coming.

  3. The start

    Sit down

    Tell the staff you're with Timeleft and take your seat. An icebreaker game unlocks in the app 30 minutes before, in case the table needs a nudge.

  4. About three hours later

    The last course

    That's long enough to get past the introductions and into the stories people came to tell. The group chat stays open afterwards, so you can make plans with anyone you got on with.

Every event is at a public venue we've vetted, and there's no one-to-one messaging before you meet. If you report someone, you're never placed with them again.

Questions about dinners

Can I go on my own?
Yes. You book on your own and we put the group together, so you don't need to bring anyone. If you'd like company, you can invite a friend as a +1 from the event page, and their first event is free.
Do I need the app?
You can book and chat in the Timeleft app for iPhone and Android, or on the web at app.timeleft.com.
What if I'm vegetarian or have another dietary need?
Choose a dietary preference when you book, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal or kosher, and we'll do our best to book a restaurant that caters to it. For allergies, check with the venue on the day.
Is it a dating thing?
No. Dinners are for meeting people, and nobody gets paired off. If you'd like to meet someone romantically, some cities run separate dinners for singles.
Is Timeleft a dinner club?
No. Nobody joins a fixed group. Each dinner is a new table of four to six people we put together at a restaurant we pick, and you book one dinner at a time.
