  1. When you book

    No plans to make

Choose your city, language and date, and we book the table. Booking stays open until 13 hours before.

  2. Before the dinner

A first look at the group

The app shows where to go and a bit about who's coming, so you know what to expect.

  3. 30 minutes before

    Questions on hand

An icebreaker game unlocks in the app, if you'd like a starting point.

  4. The start

    One conversation

Four to six people at dinner is small enough to hold one conversation the whole table can follow. Every guest chose to be there to meet new people.

Ways to meet people

Dinners

Every Wednesday evening, and on Fridays too in many cities.

Dinners have the smallest groups and a game to lean on, so they make a good first try.

Walks

Usually on Saturday mornings, and on Sundays in many cities.

A relaxed walk with a small group, starting from a meeting point we pick. Good company, and maybe a corner of the city you haven't seen.

Safety

Is it safe?

Every event is at a public venue we've vetted, and there's no one-to-one messaging before you meet. If you report someone, you're never placed with them again.

99%

Over 99% of Timeleft experiences happen without any safety incident, according to the safety framework we published in June 2026.

What members say

Four people chatting and laughing at a small restaurant table
  • I'm an introvert and I'm surprised at how easily I opened up to everyone at the dinners I've attended. It's been a great way to meet people and get to know the city.

Timeleft member · App Store review

  • I was at a birthday dinner and asked a girl how she met my friend. She said at a Timeleft dinner! I had never heard of the app, but I decided to give it a go. I have been to two dinners so far and plan to go to more…

Questions from introverts

What if I don't talk much?
That's fine. You can listen as well as talk, and the icebreaker game gives everyone an easy way in.
Can I bring a friend for moral support?
Yes. You can invite a friend as a +1 from the event page in the app, and their first event is free. New people fill the other seats.
Can I cancel if I change my mind?
Yes. You can cancel in the app up to four hours before the event starts.
