How can I make friends in Cairo?
Timeleft matches you with a small group of people for dinner or coffee in Cairo, based on your interests, personality and language. You sign up on your own, we choose the venue and the group, and before the event, the app tells you where to go.
When are Timeleft events in Cairo?
Timeleft runs dinners on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:00 pm and coffee on Saturdays at 4:00 pm. Bookings close 13 hours before each event starts, or at midnight the night before if that would fall between midnight and 8:00 am.
Where in Cairo do they happen?
At restaurants and cafés in New Cairo, and in Giza and 6th of October. The app shows the exact venue before the event.
How much does Timeleft cost in Cairo?
To book, you need a Timeleft subscription. It covers every event you book while it's active, and food and drinks are paid separately at the venue. Prices depend on the plan you pick, and the app shows them before you pay.
Can I go on my own?
Yes. You book on your own and we put the group together, so you don't need to bring anyone. If you'd rather come with someone, invite them from your booking and you'll be in the same group. They don't need a membership for that event if it's their first Timeleft booking. The guide to your first dinner walks through booking step by step.
Is it safe to meet strangers in Cairo?
Every event is at a public venue we've vetted, and there's no one-to-one messaging before you meet the group. 99% of Timeleft events happen without any safety incident. If you report someone, you're never put in the same group as them again. Our safety guidelines cover the rest.
Is Timeleft in Cairo for people in their 20s, 30s, or 40s?
Yes. Timeleft is for adults of every age. When we put a group together, we look at age along with your personality quiz and booking preferences. Who you meet still depends on who books the same event.
Is Timeleft a dating app?
No. There are no profiles to swipe through, and nobody gets paired off. You meet a small group of people at once, in person.
How is Timeleft different from Meetup?

What if I'm vegetarian or vegan, or have an allergy?
Pick a dietary preference in the app when you book, and we'll do our best to seat you at a venue that caters to it. Most restaurants we use in Cairo have vegetarian dishes, and plenty have vegan ones too. For allergies, check with the venue on the day.
