How it works

  1. Tap your answers

Moments you've probably had, like a call out of the blue or the morning after a full night out. Pick what's true for you.

  2. Get your battery type

One of six types, with roughly how many good hours you have in you on a typical evening.

  3. Find the plan that fits

The kind of evening your battery is built for, and the next Timeleft one in your city. Then send it to a friend and see if they can guess your type.

Questions people ask

What is a social battery?

It's how much time with people feels good before you want a break. Some rooms drain it fast, and some things fill it back up. It describes a pattern and doesn't diagnose anything.

Is this an introvert or extrovert test?

Not quite. Introvert and extrovert are about where your energy comes from. Your battery is how much of it you have, what empties it, and what fills it, so two introverts can still get different types.

Why hours?

Hours make an evening easy to picture. Your number is our estimate of your good hours with people, worked out from your answers. The plan, the company, and the week you've had all change it.

Where do the member figures come from?

From what Timeleft members tell us when they join, counted per city. We only show a city's figure when enough members there have answered, and we never show anyone's own answers.

How does comparing with a friend work?

Your link opens a guessing round for your friend. Once they've guessed, they take the quiz and see when your good hours overlap. Neither of you needs an account.

Is my result saved?

You don't need an account, and your answers are worked out in your browser. If you share your link, it carries your answers and the first name you add, so anyone with it can see your result. We count visits and which batteries come up, without names or emails, and we only store your name, email, and result if you ask us to email your guide.
